As promised, a couple of little treats for winter / during my uni break!

Don Quixote | Adult Ballet Workshop

It’s time for the red tutu with the fan. We waited til Winter because Kitri’s variations are quick, regardless of your level, and the Meanjin heat is too much to consider the jumps. We’ll be learning Kitri Act 3 variation,

Level: Open/beginner. There will be lots of options depending on skill level. Don Quixote has jumps and fan work. Suitable for new beginners.

Wear:You can wear a classical tutu if you’d like for this , and bring a hand fan for Kitri.

You can bring pointes, but for Kitri you will need to be in good practice, and a harder pair of pointes.

Length: 2 hours including barre warmup, cooldown, and lecture component. **Now 2 hours so we can achieve the lecture and video component. If you haven’t attended one of these before, it has a certain “mad and offensive history” component to it.
